Cycling LuangPrabang – PhouKhoun – VangVieng – NamNgum – Vientiane 3 Days

Day 1: LuangPrabang – PhouKhoun (B, L, D)
8:00 Am We start cycling on highway 13 south of LuangPrabang. The first stage 25 km outsite town is almost flat along the Nam Khan river.  Then the hill is right after XiangNgeun junction, we have a 15km climb approximate 8 to 10% grade, passing summit +1,048 m, we take a fast winding down to Khounnamming village. After crossing Nam Ming river, we take the most challenge climb today. It’s a 20 km uphill to Kiewkacham village. However, the scenery is beautiful and on arrival the hill top + 1,428 m, we take a rest and visit the Hmong tribe at Kiewtaloun village. Picnic lunch on the way, after that we will have approximate 50km on undulating road with beautiful scenery until PhouKhoun town. Dinner and overnight at Sala PhouKhoun. 
Cycling ~ 135 km

Day 2: PhouKhoun – Kasi – VangVieng (B, L, D)

After all the hard effort going up the mountains, it is time to enjoy the down hill today. After breakfast we will have about 20 km descend to Nam Ken village. There is a waterfalls and a hotspring on the road side at NamKen village, aka Nam oon hotspring. This second stage 20 km is very nice scenery of Nam Lik river along the road side. Until we get to Kasi, have a lunch break at a local restaurant. The last stage about 60 km is beautiful countryside road to VangVieng the lime stone district. If time permitting, we cycle to Nam Song river for a short kayak or tubing (tubing is simply floating in the river with a big truck tube as a buoy).  Dinner and overnight at River view bungalows hotel.
Cycling ~ 100 km.

Day 3: VangVieng – NamNgum Lake – Vientiane (B, L, D)

After breakfast, we have a short transfer Phonehong, then we start cycling to Thalat and on to Nam Ngum dam. We ride in local road and along the Nam Ngum river to small town Kenue Kang, where we can see the Laos conservation trust for wild life.  We keep on road 10 via Ban Dong, Ban Thongmang and on to Ban Thangon. Lunch break at Thangon floating restaurant. The last stage will be 24km to Vientiane – the capital of Laos.
Cycling ~ 85 km.
