Start 8:30 am from your hotel, we cycle outside Luangprabang, see a rice farm and keep on about 20km to visit a Khmu village. We follow dirt road to buffalo farm, and reach the mekong river.
Lunch break at a local restaurant. Then we ride to the beautiful Kuang Si waterfalls, time to swim and relax.
On return, we may stop to see the Bear Rescue Center. Free the Bears relies solely on donations and you can support their work. Without organisations such as this, these bears would still be living in terrible conditions, but instead they receive great care, rehabilitation and most importantly safety. Don’t expect to cuddle the bears, this is a legitimate organisation putting the bears first and the humans second, as it should be. We would highly recommend this to anyone interested to support this cause, support the bears, and to have a great experience as well. If time permitting, we have a short stop at black Hmong village with all hand-made handicraft for tourists. Late afternoon back in Luang Prabang, end of cycling to Kuangsi falls day trip.
